Cup and Saucer Vine, Cobaea scandens
This perennial vine is grown as an annual in our climate. The foliage is fast to grow and cover a trellis. The blooms take longer but will be producing in late summer. The common name comes from the green calyx that holds the cup. Also known as Cathedral Bells. Once the blooms are open, a fragrant honey-vanilla scent is released.
The plant requires FS and well drained average soil. Keep watered well, but does not like standing water.
This is a mix - your plant could produce purple or white bells.
