I adore this dahlia and she has enough variation during the season and from year to year. The color hues may vary slightly, but the buttery texture of the petals never changes.
She bears 8-10” dinnerplate blooms, fluffy petals in peaches, pinks and hints of light yellow. What a joy. Vase life this summer was about a week which is pretty good for such a big bloom.
I would suggest staking. If you keep cutting the blooms down midway, the plant will grow back stronger. Kept deadheaded, you won’t have to restake unless there is a windy period.
