Detroit Abloom will be hosting a three-week garden story time, including a nutritious snack and a fun activity. This will encourage young children to play, learn, and grow through gardening and engage their natural curiosity and wonder. Activities will include learning mindfulness in the garden, planting tomatoes to watch them grow, and participating in a scavenger hunt around the garden.

This program is for children 10 years and younger. The dates included are July 9th, 16th, and 23rd and time will be from 10 am to 11 am. We do ask for parents to register their children by emailing Brooke Elizabeth at belizabeth@michiganfitness.org or Kimberly Martin at aw7645@wayne.edu with the child’s name, age, and any allergies . Space will be limited to 10 children for this three-week reading program.

We also do ask that parents remain on site during the entire program. We welcome parents to volunteer with Tom in the garden or participate in the community yoga in the pavilion.
