Book a Tour with Tom & Nancy

Would you like to visit Detroit Abloom, a designated two-acre Urban Garden nestled in the middle of a residentaial neighborhood to learn from its directors what it was like to tranform blighted vacant land into an urban osais; to roam the gardens with us to learn about our efforts to protect nature, and our mission to revitalze our community from the ground up, then think about schedluing a tour. You can bring your garden or church group, your family, or come by yourself for a tour with Tom or Nancy. Tours are an hour long and involve walking through our gardens. We are glad to share with you our love for nature and our community and our goal to be a model project that shows how we can make this world a much better place.

Please note that Tom and Nancy are always happy to give free gardening advice throughout the season. We have also scheduled an Open Hoophouse Day for May 4th, 10 am to 6 pm. People will be picking up their dahlia tubers from their preorders, there will be spring bouquets for sale and Tom and Nancy will be available to give free consultations on Native Plant gardens.

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
